Switching Companions

How to switch​

Open your dashboard and select a new companion from the roster. If you are within your plan's companion limit, you can activate them immediately and start chatting.

Chat history is preserved​

Switching companions does not delete your conversation history. All past chats are saved and accessible when you return to a previous companion.

Active vs locked companions​

If you have more companions than your plan allows (for example, you downgraded), only your most recently chatted companions remain accessible. The rest become read-only — you can view past messages but cannot send new ones until you either:

  • Upgrade your plan
  • Purchase additional companion slots
  • Deactivate another companion to free up a slot

The system automatically determines which companions are accessible based on your most recent chat activity.
