Your First Conversation

Sending messages​

Type your message in the chat box and press Enter (or tap the send button). Your companion will respond in real time with streaming text — you will see the reply appear word by word.

Avatar reactions​

While chatting, your companion's 3D avatar reacts to the conversation. You will see facial expressions, animations, and lip sync (during voice chat) that match the emotional tone of the response.

Message limits​

Free accounts include 20 messages per day. See Message Limits for all plans.

Conversation tips​

  • Write longer messages — give your companion more to work with and you will get richer replies.
  • Be specific — the more context you provide, the better the response.
  • Play into their personality — each companion has a distinct style. Lean into it for a more engaging experience.
  • Be patient with memory — memory builds over multiple conversations on paid plans.
